With gBurner you can burn data onto real-life CDs, DVDs, or Blu-Ray discs. With gBurner Virtual Drive you don’t need to bother with real-life discs. You see, with this tool you can create virtual drives and mount image files onto them. You can have between 1 and 16 virtual drives; and you can mount of a variety of image file formats, like ISO, NRG, DMG, VCD, and more.

gBurner Virtual Drive is available for 32 and 64-bit Windows editions. And more to the point, it is available for Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2003, and Windows 2000. Download an installer, run it, and a setup wizard will help you install gBurner Virtual Drive on a PC powered by any of these Windows editions.

While gBurner Virtual Drive is running, its icon is displayed in the system tray. No matter if you left or right click the icon, you are presented with the same menu. A menu that allows you to mount and unmount image files, set the number of virtual drives, unmount all virtual drives, and access the Configuration menu. From this menu you can enable autostart, automount, pick the number of virtual drives, and edit the letters assigned to the virtual drives.

What I liked most about gBurner Virtual Drive is that it allows you to set up plenty of virtual drives and that it provides support for plenty of file image formats. You can create up to 16 virtual drives – that should be more than enough. You can mount ISO, GBI/GBP, DAA, NRG, MDF/MDS, BIN/CUE, UIF, ISZ, DMG, IMG, and many other image file formats onto these 16 virtual drives.

No matter that type of image file you have, you can mount it on a virtual drive created with gBurner Virtual Drive.

Pros

gBurner Virtual Drive is available for 32 and 64-bit Windows editions. Installing the application on a Windows PC is an effortless task. You can create up to 16 virtual drives. You can mount lots of image file formats on a virtual drive. gBurner Virtual Drive is free.

Cons

None that I could think of.
